On Easter Sunday, your St. Vincent de Paul Society dropped off donations to 46 families in the area. The picture shows what was typically in these donations:
- Easter baskets donated by Sophie Abell and family/friends
- a large bag of assorted food donated by Tanya Borrego and friends
- an 8 lb. cooked ham
- and several boxes of food and paper goods donated by parishioners and local school food drives.
In Matthew 25:34-35, Jesus encourages us to “Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food.” Please lift up our neighbors and volunteers in your prayers asking that God grants them what they need most right now.
