I have been married to my husband, Rob for 30 years in December. We have 3 grown sons, Alex, married to Molly, Ben and Stephen. We have an 18 month old grandson, Wes.
I have a degree in Business Administration. I started my business career as a retail buyer for children's footwear. This was my most interesting position, The work was diverse and included a lot of travel. I made friends while working within the organization that became friends for life and practically family. From there, I migrated into the technology side of business where I had planned to finish my career. For months, I had felt what I can only describe as a "tug" to do something different. This opportunity provides me with the perfect combination of my business experience and my parish life.
My parents were my most important role models in faith. My dad was my only Catholic parent as my mom was protestant. We learned by example to respect others, no matter their faith or their additional circumstances. My dad's career moved us around and we were able to live in and around interesting places and people.
My family and I enjoy spending time on the water. We are on our second boat and being on the lake is the best time! Rob and I love helping to care for our grandson.
One of my favorite quotes of scripture would be Jeremiah 29:11 Many years ago, I wrote this on a piece of paper and hung it on my refrigerator. That same little piece of paper has come through 3 household moves and is still hanging there today. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
