Thank you, thank you for your faithfulness, joyfulness & generosity in bountifully bringing the Second Quarter of our parish fiscal year to a successful close. Our fiscal year runs 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. As commonly happens, giving increased in December with increased attendance during Advent & Christmas. Hmm, an increase in coming to Mass increases the support to parish life in more ways than one! Your financial support is up 9.2% for the year as compared to the same time last year. I treasure your trust in the parish leadership and greatly appreciate your willingness to increase your support for the Mission of the Gospel and Ministry of the Parish to you, your fellow parishioners, and the greater community at large.
For those who are using Faith Direct, the Holy Family e-giving option, thank you. This is a great way to provide clear and consistent support to the parish and is often much easier for both the donor and parish to facilitate that gift. As we start a new calendar year, this can be a good time to review your giving. Perhaps, you’ve not looked at your preset amount in long time. If not, maybe now is a good time to prayerfully join your fellow parishioners in increasing your support. Parish leadership is already exploring new ways to grow our vital ministries and new ways to share the good news of Christ’s love to reflect His care and mercy to those in need throughout the community. We are starting to fill the 2024-25FY calendar and set the budget as responsible stewards of God’s precious resources offered through you. Thank you for continuing to make a difference in 2024, as Holy Family reaches out to our parishioners.
This outreach is seen in the many new faces. We added 19 new families in the last six months and more than twice that in the last 12 months to our Holy Family family. So, if you see a new face - even a face that just new to you - introduce yourself, get to know one another, and welcome them into the Family. We are blessed to have you joining us - both new and old!
Yet another thank you! Through the generosity of so many of you, the Holy Family family has contributed $10095 to build a new home for a family in need through our partners with Cross Catholic International – Guatemala Advent Home Project.
