Hello! I'm Kristina Seipel, and I am so excited to be a part of the Holy Family family. I grew up in the Louisville, Kentucky area and started attending mass at St. Joe Hill in Sellersburg in grade school. There my faith became my own and I grew in my relationship with Jesus through youth ministry. I felt called to work in parish ministry myself and studied Theology and Catechetics at Franciscan University of Steubenville. I graduated in 2011 and took a ministry position at St. Joseph in Louisville where I served all age groups for two years before returning to St. Joe Hill as a member of the parish staff. There I served in various ministries for nine years before being welcomed here at Holy Family. While at St. Joe, I married my husband in 2017, and we welcomed Michael in 2018. I also completed my Masters in Pastoral Theology from St. Meinrad in 2021. And this July when I began at Holy Family, we welcomed our daughter. My hobbies include cooking, spending time with my children and time in nature. As a family we love to get out in nature and camp! In my position as Director of Discipleship and Catechesis, I am looking forward to working with children and adults alike while getting to know the Holy Family family that has welcomed me with open arms.
