We recall this Sunday the return of our Risen Lord to the Right Hand of the Father in Heaven, known as the Ascension. As a local Catholic Community, we will begin a return of our own, not to heaven, but to the throne of Grace around the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. While our assembly will be smaller and with added protocols, it is still a Community and Communion of Faith in Jesus Christ Truly present in Scripture and Sacrament. May it strengthen us collectively – whether present in person or watching online, that Christ's victory is supreme. That Christ will continue to see us through this pandemic. That we will remain true to the Faith in word and deed by lives looking forward to joining Jesus with the Father through the Spirit forever in Heaven.
The Mass Protocols will continue to be evaluated, especially after the first weekend of Masses. Please be patient as we get used to the new protocols. Please do your best to follow them for the peace, safety, and well-being of all gathered at the altar of the Lamb.
Holy Family still has need of volunteer people to carry it out our weekly gatherings. If you are healthy, able, and willing, please commit to clean so that the congregation can come to pray. Please contact Paul Stiller ([email protected]) with your availability.
The Lord has Ascended to the Father!
