3rd Sunday of Easter (from Kelli Reutman)

Dear Holy Family Parishioners,

My name is Kelli, and I'm the Director of Communications at Holy Family. As we continue through the joyous Easter season, I would like to share something that has been bringing me great joy. Over the past year and a half, I have been discerning a call to the religious life and I am now applying to join the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus. Praise God! They are a young community located in New Ulm, Minnesota, with a charism for building the Kingdom of God in their local diocese alongside priests and the lay faithful. If my application is accepted, I will be entering the community in late August.

Even though I am not yet officially accepted to the Handmaids, I want to make sure the parish is left in a secure position. So, we are posting the job opening for a new Communications & Advancement Director to work for both the school and the parish. We hope to hire somebody to work alongside me for a few weeks so the transition is smooth. Please, please, please pass this information along to whomever you know that would be interested! I would be glad to chat with them before they officially apply. I can also vouch for it being a great working environment!

In His great goodness, the Lord gave me this time at Holy Family. It is through my ministry here that I found in my own heart the charisms of the Handmaids. Being here allowed me frequent access to the Sacraments and Adoration, which have been vital in my discernment. The community welcomed me with open arms and hearts last February, for which I am so grateful. I also need to thank Fr. Jeremy for his unwavering support from the very beginning.

Please know that I am praying for you and the needs of our community. I ask for your prayers as well as I continue along this path, that the Father’s will may be done in all things!

In His Love,
Kelli Reutman

“Behold, the handmaid of the Lord! Let it be done to me according to your word” (Lk 1:38).
