Shirley Ann (Carpenter) Andres, 80, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. She was a school bus driver for the New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation and enjoyed her job for almost 40 years. Shirley loved to play Euchre and enjoyed living and working on her family's farm with her husband and children. She loved her animals, especially her faithful companion, Bayer, and will be remembered for the generous and loving soul she had.
Shirley is survived by her loving children, Norbert Andres, Jr. and Shelley Andres; and many extended family members, friends, and fellow bus drivers.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Holy Family Catholic Church - New Albany with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
