Patty (Ettel) Blanckaert, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was a long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church and former teacher's assistant at Holy Family Catholic School. Patty is survived by her husband, August Blanckaert, Jr.; children, Josh Haller (Tara), Sarah Martin (Shawn); and brother, Gary Ettel.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church (129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany) with cremation to follow according to Patty's wishes. She will be laid to rest privately at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
Eternal Rest grant unto her, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
