Holy Family Catholic Parish in New Albany, IN is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to facilitate the effective organization, operation, and coordination of the parish office and ministries. The Administrative Services Coordinator will provide secretarial and clerical support to the parish office as well as coordination of vendor accounts, support services for parish financials, and material resources allocations. The Administrative Services Coordinator will assist in the building up of Christ’s Church through the active support of ministers and ministries, parishioners, and volunteers. Both part-time and full-time candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Provide receptionist services for the parish office
- Provides secretarial and clerical services to the pastor & parish ministry team
- Provides basic record keeping and financial support services for the parish
- Provide coordination of ministries’ schedules and calendars
Qualifications:
- An active member of a Catholic parish faith community is desired
- Proficient knowledge and skill using personal computers and word processing
- Previous experience in a general office setting working with the public is desired
- Must be organized, prompt, and able to work to deadlines
- Knowledge of Sacraments and Sacramental preparations and requirements
- Must have the ability to relate to a variety of persons
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
The next Administrative Services Coordinator will be required to complete the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’ Safe Parish training and Code of Conduct, which includes a background check.
