Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Carroll, 93, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022. Betty was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, Indiana, and previously a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Butte, Montana. She was devoted to her family, her husband of 40 years, her 7 children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was active in her church and community, especially with providing care and love to those around her: family, friends, and anyone in need. She was very proud of her Irish Heritage and her hometown and told everyone she met where she was from.
She was born on July 8, 1929, in Butte, Montana, to the late Peter and Margaret (Carragher) Nulty. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Daniel Carroll; and sisters, Mary Blastek, Therese Nulty, and Rita Lewin.
Betty is survived by her children, Mickey (Mike) Boysza, Christie (Dan) Gulley, Susan (Mike) Reed, Sheila (Nolan) Wanner, Lisa (Mike) Bennet, Kevin (Deanne) Carroll, and Brian Carroll; sisters, Lila Foster and Patricia O'Leary; brothers, Gerald and Peter Nulty; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
