Come and enjoy an hour of blessed Christmas music.
Thirty youth and six adult chaperones spent four days at the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) in Indianapolis in November to celebrate our faith with 23,000 other young Catholics from across the United States. We would like to thank you, our parish family, for your love, your prayers and your support through our pancake breakfasts and Harvest Homecoming Booth. Your generosity has helped make this opportunity for us to grow in our relationship with Christ a reality! We are blessed to belong to such a caring community! Thank you and may God bless you abundantly!!

My first NCYC is an experience that I will never forget. The reason for this event was for high school Catholic youth to strengthen their faith in God through guest speakers who shared their experiences in their life with God. I personally have never felt closer to God than during that weekend. It’s nice to know there are so many others who have the same beliefs. I plan to attend this event again in 2013 and I encourage anybody who is in high school to come with us.
— A.D., Freshman, PHS
Both times I have attended NCYC has been one of the best experiences to grow in my faith. To me, the best part was when the emcee had all of the people in the stadium stay silent for about 10 minutes. It amazes me that not even a whisper could be heard. If you ever have the chance to go to NCYC go because it will be a life changing experience. It has been for me.
— C.M., Senior, PHS
After my second NCYC, I am still in awe of the joy and strength it has given me.I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of something greater than myself and feel welcome in the arms of so many Catholic youth. I encourage anyone who can to attend because it will change your life.
— A.S., Senior, PHS
The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
