Charlene J. Fessel, 72, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was born May 3, 1943 in Henryville, Indiana to the late Charles W. and Olive Louise (Cullins) Feeler. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Michael “Mike” Fessel. She was an artist, a member of the Art Council of Southern Indiana, a member of the K of C Ladies Knights Council 1221, the Cursillo Group at Mt. St. Francis, volunteered with the Walking Books program at the NAFC Library, and an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church, participating as a greeter and in the Bereavement Committee.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 129 W. Daisy Ln., New Albany, Indiana with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
