Nurses and Doctors needed for this ministry
The staff has asked the Christian Service Commission to begin an important ministry here at Holy Family Catholic Church. Many parishes have a Parish Nursing Ministry and have found it to be an invaluable ministry, especially for its senior members. There is an Introduction to Health Ministries and Faith Community Nursing course to help you get started.
This will be held at Norton Healthcare Pavilion on November 2nd and 3rd and earns you 11.5 contact hours of continuing education. We can also compare with other area churches to see what they are offering to decide what we would like to offer. We will need a chair or co-chairs and other nurses/doctors who are willing to share their skills and compassion with their fellow parishioners in improving their health and lifestyle.
