HS Freshman Overnight Send-Off – August 4
Holy Family Youth Ministry will be sponsoring a High School Freshman Overnight Send-Off on Saturday, August 4th 2012. There will be a variety of activities, games, service opportunities, guest speakers and fellowship throughout the day and evening. Freshman should arrive at the Parish Activity Center no later than 2:00 p.m. Saturday to register.
We will need signed Medical Release Forms, Permission Slips, and a small payment of $5.00 to cover costs. All forms are available on the Youth Ministry Webpage, found at this link. Please bring a two-liter, snack to share with the group, and the clothes you will need for sleeping and Church the following day.
Dinner and breakfast will be included in the $5.00 charge. Our overnighter will end with the celebration of Mass at 10:30am. All incoming High School Freshman from the Parish are invited to attend. If a child cannot be present for the entire event, they are more than welcome to attend as much as they can.
We are in need of Adult Volunteers to assist in chaperoning and transportation (in shifts). Adult Volunteers also need to have a Medical Release Form on File. Parents, if you have any additional questions, or would like to volunteer to help in any way, please contact Sara Raelson.
