HF Youth attend One Bread, One Cup conference
Five youth and their adult leaders from Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany on June 11-15, attended the One Bread, One Cup Summer Liturgical Leadership Conferences for High School Youth and Campus and Youth Ministers on the campus of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, IN.
During the five-day conference, the youth learn about their Catholic faith through sessions of catechesis, liturgical and spiritual formation, and participation in liturgies. They also are trained in liturgical ministries, such as lector, Eucharistic minister and cantor, learning skills that they can use in their parishes and high schools.
Attending the conference were: Casey McCauley, McKenzy Stilger, April Stiller, Ginny McCauley and Katelyn Koopman. Also attending were the adult participants, Rose Lehman and Michael McCauley. Jacob Kraft of Holy Family, a Junior Nursing Major at Marian University in Indianapolis serves as a Summer Intern with the One Bread One Cup Conference.
